No, your eyes aren't deceiving you. The Players Guide website really has changed.

What you'll notice is that the sidebars have flopped sides, and the background has changed.

What you won't notice, is the full overhaul in stylesheet that's occurred on the backend. We've kept Nemesis's original layout and color scheme as the inspiration, but the site has now been recoded in table-free css instead of the hybrid of css and non-css of its original design.

It's now cleaner, more efficient code that loads faster, resizes more smoothly, and is more accessible. What does this mean for a site this small? Not much, admittedly. Mostly, it's the start of shifting from a philosophy of not fixing what isn't broken, to a philosophy of optimizing what we have and making it the best it can be, instead of just working around certain inefficiencies we've inherited.

The website is the first phase of this. Improvements will also be coming to the muck itself. Some will be visible to players, some will just make the gears run more smoothly behind the scenes. "If it's not broken, don't fix it," has carried us through so far. However, layering the duct tape on something doesn't make it less broken, and if something isn't running as well as it could be, "because we're used to it this way" is the worst reason to avoid change. Change is coming, all of it for the better.
